About Tools for Learning
Tools for Learning is a project directed by Richard Keir, PhD, who has spent a life time involved one way or another with learning and training.
For years Richard worked in Clinical Psychology and many of his activities involved training and workshops. Later, he became involved in employment and training programs which led into a career in Management Information Systems. As a programmer analyst and later a Systems Specialist and network engineer with the State of California, Richard ended up doing still more training in programming as well as end-user computer and software training.
Now living in Brasil, Richard and his wife run a bricks-and-mortar school teaching English as a foreign language in a small, historic town in the interior of Rio de Janeiro state.
Richard has also been working on line for several years (since DSL services finally became available) and along with creating programs for webmasters has become involved with the internet learning scene.
Hopefully, Tools for Learning will grow into a hub site for quality learning products in many areas including some sold directly from the site.
